KNITWEAR SET: HATHOR AND NEFERTARI

A three piece braided knitwear set in deep cocoa brown. Inspired by the intertwined hands of Egyptian deities Hathor and Nefertari, the set incorporates knots and braids of various thickness and length encapsulating the neck, the waist, and the entire top with one long braid swinging along the center back. The set includes a braided bandeau top which crosses over around the neck, a biker short, and a braided belt. Just as Hathor interlocks Nefertari’s hand into her own, the set weaves together casual fibers with a bold silhouette. A project exploring fiber manipulation and knitwear, the Hathor and Nefertari set demonstrates the ability to stand alone thanks to entwinement, an aptness for each coil that asserts pride and faith in one-self, creating a complimentary combination as fierce as the Egyptian deities. Material: 81% polyester 19% spandex in deep cocoa brown.
