A 100% wool overcoat featuring two rows of hand-cut wool fringe layered across the back, running along the sleeves performing as a set of wings, and sculpting a silhouette electrified by the Egyptian goddess Isis herself. The overcoat reaches past the knees, incorporates rounded pockets, a petite collar and a long circular lapel. The inner coat is finished with a silver satin lining and a blind hem along the coat’s bottom. Every piece of the overcoat is pattern-made, from the lapel to the lining. A project exploring heavy weight fabric, Wings of Isis simultaneously evokes freedom, confidence and flight. Material: 100% wool in electric blue. Silver satin lining. Wool is double sided in color, with blue as the primary side used. Fringe flips between blue and brown sides of fabric.
