THE MEDITERRANEAN SAHARA COLLECTION: 3YN

3YN FW'22: A high neck, flared backless maxi dress with extra flare in the back, featuring two large evil eye appliqué designs along the side seams. The dress is fully draped, without utilizing a pattern, and incorporates darts along the apex, and reaching right above the hips. Another set of darts appear on either sides of the bust. 3yn features two evil eyes as large components of the design, a traditional North African symbol of protection and humble mentality against jealousy, excessive flattery and malicious overpraise. A project inspired by simultaneous humility and faith in self, 3yn demonstrates subtle vibrance in a culture of dimming lights. Material: Silk blend in electric blue, with satin deep sea blue appliqué.
